A Polarization Preserving, Low Loss Optical Switch for High Dimensional Time Bin QKD

Abstract

We present an ultra-low-loss optical switch designed to enable the deterministic generation and measurement of time-bin qudit states for high-dimensional quantum key distribution. Moreover, our optical switch preserves the single photons’ polarization state.
